About coffee in Smolenice
On Molpír hill, archaeologists have dug up more than seven hundred bronze arrowheads, many of them still lodged in the walls or with their tips bent from the impact. In the 7th century BC a hillfort of more than fifteen hectares stood here, home to several hundred people. It ended abruptly: fire consumed the houses and the fortifications, and beneath the layer of ash lay human skeletons, amber beads and more than two thousand spindle whorls. Archaeologists still argue over who did the shooting — some see raiders from the steppes of today's Ukraine, others a war between neighbours.
