Specialty Atlas B2B Terms of Service — partner portal and subscriptions

Last updated: 25 August 2026

1. General provisions

1.1. These Terms govern the use of the Specialty Atlas B2B portal by cafés, roasteries and other businesses (the Partner) and the conclusion and billing of paid plans (subscriptions) and add‑ons.

1.2. Provider — the legal entity operating Specialty Atlas. Identification details, address and contact are published on specialtyatlas.com and in the B2B portal, and appear on billing documents.

1.3. B2B services are addressed exclusively to businesses. By entering into the contract the Partner declares that it acts within its business or professional activity.

1.4. Matters not covered here are governed by the Website Terms of Use, and content presented to app users by the Mobile App Terms of Service. In case of conflict, these Terms prevail for the B2B portal, subscriptions and billing.

2. Partner account and claiming a listing

2.1. Registering a B2B account requires accurate entity data, details of the person authorised to act on its behalf, and contact details.

2.2. A Partner may claim a venue or roastery listing that already exists in the catalogue. Claiming requires verification of authority; the Provider may request additional documents, contact confirmation or on‑site verification (for example material bearing the venue’s QR code) and may refuse or revoke a claim in case of doubt or a dispute between entities.

2.3. The Partner is responsible for all activity carried out from the organisation’s account, including by people to whom the Partner granted access.

2.4. One account may manage several venues within the plan limits. The Partner keeps venue data current (address, opening hours, offer, events).

3. Scope of services

3.1. The B2B portal allows, in particular: maintaining a venue or roastery listing, managing the gallery and description, publishing events, maintaining the “on bar” bean list, managing the roastery bean catalogue, publishing official recipes, replying in discussions (Buzz), handling community change suggestions, generating QR code material for check‑ins, accessing statistics, and managing the subscription.

3.2. The exact feature scope and limits (number of venues, photos, recipes, events, description length, analytics window, CSV export) follow from the chosen plan, are presented on the plans page and are enforced in the portal.

3.3. The Provider develops the product continuously and may add, change or retire features. Changes that materially reduce the scope of a paid plan are announced under section 11.

3.4. The Provider does not guarantee any level of traffic, views, check‑ins, ratings or sales results.

4. Plans, prices and payments

4.1. Current plans, prices and billing periods (monthly or annual) are presented on the plans page and in the portal before purchase. The price shown in the order summary is binding.

4.2. Prices are presented together with the tax information applicable at the time of purchase. If a change in law or in the Provider’s tax status changes how the service is taxed, the net price stays the same and the gross amount is adjusted accordingly from the next billing period.

4.3. Payments are handled by Stripe. The Provider does not store full card numbers. Billing documents are made available electronically and the Partner agrees to their issuance and delivery in that form.

4.4. The subscription renews automatically for another billing period at the price list in force on the renewal date, until cancelled under section 6.

4.5. Add‑ons (an extra location and similar) are billed as described for each of them — recurring or one‑off. A one‑off add‑on runs for the purchased time window and does not renew automatically unless stated otherwise.

4.6. Failed payment. If the charge for the next period, including the first one after a trial, fails, the subscription ends immediately and the account moves to the Free plan with the effects set out in section 5. The plan can be bought again at any time in the portal.

4.7. A price change for an existing plan takes effect no earlier than the next billing period, after notice under section 11.

4.8. Free trial. The first paid plan on an account may start with a 14‑day free trial. Starting the trial requires a payment card. We email a reminder about the first payment a week before the trial ends. Unless the Partner cancels earlier, the subscription becomes paid and the first fee is charged on the day the trial ends. Cancelling before that day costs nothing and the account moves to the Free plan. The trial is available once per account and does not apply to purchases with a discount code.

4.9. A year upfront. An annual plan can also be paid once, upfront (for example with BLIK, Przelewy24 or a card). Such a plan runs for 12 months from purchase and does not renew automatically, so section 4.4 does not apply to it. A week before it ends we email a reminder about extending it. Another payment for the same plan extends it by 12 months from the end of the current period. The plan can be changed after the paid period ends or by contacting us. When the period ends, the account moves to the Free plan with the effects set out in section 5.

5. Plan changes, expiry and read‑only mode

5.1. Upgrades take effect immediately; the difference is settled under the proration rules applied by Stripe.

5.2. Downgrades take effect as a rule at the end of the paid period.

5.3. Exceeding limits. If, after a downgrade or expiry, the Partner’s resources exceed the new plan’s limits (more venues, photos, recipes or events than the plan allows), the excess resources switch to read‑only mode: they stay in the portal and are not deleted, but editing and publishing may be blocked and features available only on paid plans may be turned off. They unlock again after returning to a suitable plan or after the Partner brings the count below the limit.

5.4. Plan expiry does not remove the venue listing from the catalogue and does not delete the account; the venue remains visible in the scope applicable to the Free plan.

5.5. Partner data and content are retained under the Privacy Policy; after the cooperation ends the Partner may download the data available for export in the portal.

6. Term and termination

6.1. The B2B services contract is concluded for an indefinite period, billed in the chosen periods.

6.2. The Partner may cancel renewal at any time through the subscription management portal. The service runs until the end of the paid period; fees for a started period are not refunded unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

6.3. Right of withdrawal. B2B services are addressed to businesses, to which the consumer right of withdrawal does not apply. Where the Partner is a natural person running a business and the contract is not of a professional character for them, they have the rights that the law provides for that category of entrepreneurs — including a 14‑day right of withdrawal, subject to losing that right where they requested performance to begin before it lapsed, to the extent already performed.

6.4. The Provider may terminate the contract or suspend access for valid reasons — in particular a gross breach of these Terms, abuse of users, rating manipulation, payment arrears or an authority’s demand — subject to section 8.

6.5. If the Provider terminates the contract without fault on the Partner’s side, we refund the unused, proportionate part of the fee for the current period.

7. Partner obligations and prohibited practices

7.1. The Partner is responsible for the legality and accuracy of published content, including descriptions, photos, prices, information on bean origin, allergens and events, and declares that it holds the rights to the material it uploads, including image rights of people in photos.

7.2. The following are prohibited in particular:

  • manipulating ratings and reviews — commissioning, buying or coercing reviews, reviewing your own venue, offering benefits for removing or changing a rating;
  • check‑in abuse — sharing the QR code outside the venue, generating artificial visits, inducing scans without a visit;
  • publishing content misleading as to the offer, prices or the status of the listing;
  • impersonating another entity or taking over someone else’s listing;
  • automated harvesting of platform data outside the portal.

7.3. A Partner replying in discussions acts as the venue profile; rules of civil communication apply and disclosing users’ personal data is prohibited.

7.4. The Partner may report content that breaches the law or these Terms, but may not demand removal of a rating solely because it is negative.

8. Restrictions, suspension and complaint handling

8.1. Before restricting, suspending or terminating services for a Partner we will provide a statement of reasons with the basis and, where possible, in advance so the matter can be clarified. We may withhold the statement where a legal obligation prevents it or where the Partner repeatedly breaches these Terms.

8.2. Internal complaint handling. Complaints about B2B services — including decisions to restrict, suspend or terminate the service, billing and platform operation — may be submitted to the contact address indicated in the B2B portal. We handle complaints individually, within a reasonable time, as a rule within 14 days, and in complex cases we state the expected response time.

8.3. Mediation. If a complaint is not resolved, the parties may attempt to settle the dispute amicably with a mediator selected in line with the rules on fair conditions for business users. This does not limit the right to go to court.

9. Ranking and paid promotion

9.1. The main parameters determining the order in which venues, roasteries and beans are presented are described in the Mobile App Terms of Service (section 8). They include fit with the user’s profile, distance, freshness and availability of the offer, popularity, content recency and repetition limits.

9.2. A plan does not raise the position of a venue or roastery in search results. It unlocks listing presentation features and, on higher plans, the presence of beans in the Lab in additional countries as well as the monthly promotion allowance in 9.3, which does affect the order of bean recommendations.

9.3. Lab Boost is a feature of the Pro and Enterprise plans: the Partner receives a monthly allowance of promotions and starts them from the portal, at no separate charge. A running promotion raises the match score of the selected bean in the Lab for 3 days by the fixed value shown in the portal. An unused allowance does not carry over to the next month and is not refundable. A boost does not guarantee any position, number of views or sales, and has no effect outside the Lab.

9.4. Banner campaigns and other advertising material are displayed with an advertising label, under separate arrangements.

10. Personal data and statistics

10.1. Personal data processing is described in the Privacy Policy. Contact details of people representing the Partner are processed to conclude and perform the contract and for billing and contact purposes.

10.2. Statistics available in the portal are aggregated and do not identify individual users. Where a small number of observations could point to individuals, we apply a minimum user threshold and show a “collecting data” state instead of the figure. The exception is inherently public content (a signed visit rating or a discussion post).

10.3. The Partner may not use data obtained from the platform — including data from discussions and ratings — to build its own marketing databases, profile users or make marketing contact without a separate, valid legal basis. The Partner is solely responsible for the lawfulness of such activity.

10.4. Where in a specific process the parties act as controller and processor, they will conclude a separate data processing agreement.

11. Changes to these Terms and to plan conditions

11.1. We may change these Terms and plan conditions for valid reasons (changes in law, changes to the scope or cost of the service, security considerations, product development).

11.2. We notify the Partner of changes on a durable medium (email or a portal message) at least 15 days before they take effect, and where changes require technical or commercial adjustments, with correspondingly longer notice.

11.3. The Partner may terminate the contract before the changes take effect. Continued use of the portal after that date means acceptance. The notice period does not apply where the change results from a legal obligation or counters an immediate risk.

12. Liability

12.1. The Provider delivers the service with due care but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or the absence of errors. Maintenance is scheduled outside peak hours where possible.

12.2. Towards Partners that are businesses, the Provider’s liability is limited to actual damage and to the amount of fees paid by the Partner in the 12 months preceding the event. Liability for lost profits, loss of goodwill and indirect damage is excluded.

12.3. The limitations in 12.2 do not apply to damage caused wilfully or to cases where mandatory law does not allow liability to be limited.

12.4. The Partner will indemnify the Provider against third‑party claims arising from content published by the Partner.

13. Governing law and disputes

13.1. The contract is governed by Polish law.

13.2. Disputes with Partners that are businesses are resolved by the court having jurisdiction over the Provider’s registered office, unless mandatory law provides otherwise and after the procedure in section 8 has been exhausted.
