About coffee in Nova Dedinka
Nová Dedinka is Slovak for New Little Village, though its older part shows up in documents as early as 1252. Only the name is new, given in 1960 when two neighbouring villages were merged. Before that they appeared on paper as Saap, Pomsa or Pompsahaza, and they only got Slovak names in the 20th century: one before the war, the other after it. What is genuinely new here today are the houses of people from Bratislava looking for quiet outside the city, and they are the ones who decide how fast the village grows.
