Specialty coffee in Bra

Pollenzo, today part of Bra, sits on a Roman amphitheatre, the largest we know of in Piedmont. In the eighteenth century houses were built straight onto the radiating walls of the old seating, and the vaults between them were turned into cellars. The buildings took on the shape of the arena as a result, and to this day they lay themselves out in an ellipse, while this part of town is simply called Colosseo. Wine is still kept underground here, a few hundred metres away, in the nineteenth-century cellars of the royal estate, where an archive of Italian vintages has been set up.
