Specialty coffee in Zeliezovce

The name of this town on the Hron, home to fewer than seven thousand people, has made it into archaeology textbooks around the world. Researchers use "Želiezovce group" for a Neolithic culture from about six thousand years ago whose traces stretch from western Hungary and Austria through Moravia all the way to southern Poland and Spiš. The site that gave it the name actually lies outside the town, in Veľký Pesek, now part of a neighbouring village. Želiezovce lent its name to an entire prehistoric culture, even though it is easy to miss on a modern map.
