Specialty coffee in Dubnica nad Vahom

In the 18th century the Illésházys' baroque palace had a park with a stone maze, a game preserve and greenhouses for pineapples. The real treasure, though, was in the library: a codex containing the Dubnica Chronicle, the only medieval royal chronicle to survive in Slovakia. In 1838 the last of the family handed the collection over to the National Museum in Budapest, and the chronicle never came back. All Dubnica has left of it is the name.
