Specialty coffee in Bojnice

The rock beneath Bojnice was made by water. Warm springs, written about as early as the 16th century and still used to treat rheumatism today, spent millennia laying down travertine and hollowing caves out of it. One of them lies 26 metres below the castle's fourth courtyard: a grotto 22 metres across that was forgotten and only rediscovered during the castle's rebuilding. Another, Prepoštská Cave, was once home to Neanderthals, and archaeologists have pulled more than three thousand finds out of it.
