About coffee in Pasohlavky
In the autumn of 1988, earthworks near Pasohlávky happened to uncover the grave of a Germanic ruler from the time of the Marcomannic Wars. The chamber lay a kilometre and a half from the Roman fortress on Hradisko hill, and although it had been robbed back in antiquity, nearly two hundred objects were left inside: silver vessels from the age of Augustus, bronze cauldrons decorated with the heads of bearded Germanic men, sixteen spurs. No richer find of its kind has turned up anywhere else. A ruler who lived right under the legions' noses took Rome with him to the grave.
