Specialty coffee in Suwalki

The fame of Poland's cold pole is largely a matter of the microphone, not the thermometer. The weather station here has been running since 1945 and became a fixture of every forecast on radio and television, so for decades the town's name meant frost in Poland. The records, though, are set elsewhere: near Czarny Dunajec the thermometers have gone lower than Suwałki's minus 35.5 degrees from January 1950. Nobody is taking the title away from Suwałki anyway, because it has the lowest average annual temperature in the country - and better PR.
