Specialty coffee in Imola

When Cesare Borgia needed a plan of newly captured Imola in 1502, he put Leonardo on the job. Leonardo walked the town with a primitive odometer, measured the angles at the crossroads and drew them as if looking straight down from above: no towers in perspective, no ornament, just the plan. What came of it is the oldest surviving town plan drawn that way, the ancestor of every map you have in your phone today. Historians say you can still walk around Imola with it.
